Map Harbour Original & Frozen
The mood change was made thanks to a tool I made to have global controls over all the environment shaders and change moss & dirt into snow. Also made an Ice shader to replace the water shader.
Smoke & Fire FX on Niagara
I made them with fluid simulation, then bake flipbooks.
It was a fun map to work on.
A lot of shaders (water, flipbook FX, VAT, Parallax, Burnt Wood, procedural blending...)
As for all the Century's map, I tried to give enough controls to artists with tools(Houdini,Blueprints...) and shaders.
One of the best thing was to be able to transform this all map into a frozen one with just parameters from a blueprint, and shaders tweaking.
I worked on the optimisation part too.
